What is this course?

Every child deserves to enjoy their sport. This workshop will raise your awareness of the tell-tale signs of abuse and give you the tools and confidence you need to deal with any issues sensitively, appropriately and effectively should the need ever arise in your coaching career.

The workshop has been developed and certified in partnership with the NSPCC and CPSU and updated to include content on Anti-radicalisation and Vulnerable Children and Adults.

Active Cheshire facilitates Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Vulnerable Adults courses in Cheshire West, Cheshire East and Warrington, with the course being delivered by UK Coaching. Please check with your National Governing Body (NGB) whether this course is recognised by them.
